" The project is running to plan and below budget with no special circumstances to report.

We have still to hear from Bisset Electrical in Thornhill and GH Currie in Sandbank as to whether they have managed to recruit replacement apprentices. Another company, James Stevenson Electrical, has expressed an interest in joining the project and so we will try to find a sponsor for his apprentice who will be able to go to college in February 2011.

We have prepared a draft business plan to help Crawford and Mathieson in Callander seek bank funding for a move to new premises. Their accountant has endorsed the plan and they will proceed with their relocation plan if they can get suitable finance."
